ISOPAN OPENS ITS STATE OF THE ART PLANT
Friday, September 18th, at 10:00 in Volžskij (Volgograd), the Isopan Rus plant is being officially opened, which has been marketing its exclusive insulating panels for roofs and walls in the largest transcontinental country as of July 2015. 150 selected guests will visit the plant: in addition to representatives of local institutions, including the Governor of the Volgograd Region, Andrey Bocharov, there will also be investors and industrial figures with interests in Russia. The President of ISOPAN will be doing the honours, as well as the Vice President of Gruppo Manni HP, Francesco Manni, flanked by the Chairman of the Holding Giuseppe Manni, the Managing Director Enrico Frizzera and International Market and Brand Developer Alessandro Cuomo.
The project - with twenty million euros invested, a total area of thirty thousand square metres of which eleven thousand have been built on, two production lines with an annual capacity of three million square metres - was carried out with the support of Simest, a financial subsidiary of the government controlled by the Cassa Depositi e Prestiti, who supports Italian companies in their development on international markets and has acquired a 24.9% stake in the Russian company. With its entrance, Simest has further strengthened the investment position of Isopan and the brand image for international operators.
In just two months of being present on the Russian market, Isopan Rus has already secured a major project right in Volgograd: it involves 5,200 square metres of the Ark-Wall ventilated facade system, one of Isopan's exclusive products destined to line the new Basketball Arena, the 'home' of BC Red October Volgograd and that will be built at the feet of "The Motherland Calls" statue, a monument commemorating the Battle of Stalingrad in 1942-43. The design and quality of Isopan's "Made in Italy" products have begun to penetrate the Soviet market.
An added value of the new Russian plant, explains Enrico Frizzera, Managing Director of Gruppo Manni, is «the two production plants in a continuous cycle, a unique example by a foreign company in the Federation, that make it possible to produce polyurethane panels, one of the most important insulating products for its excellent insulating properties, low conductivity and resistance to moisture and water, and mineral wool panels, efficient thermal and acoustic insulators that are highly draining and fireproof».
Giuseppe Manni, President of Gruppo Manni celebrating its 70th anniversary in 2015, confirms that «the choice of Volgograd, with its industrial history centred on mechanics, made us think that it was here that we could make the most of the assets gained in seventy years of Group activity, founded in 1945 by my father. The pride of the speaker leads us to believe that many more years of success will follow, starting from this plant».
«The setting up of the production facilities - says Francesco Manni, Vice President of the Group and President of the sub-holding Isopan - was preceded by the development of relations with many Russian companies in order to encourage the exchange of information and trigger a process of continuous innovation. Despite the tightening of political relations with Europe, in fact, we believe that Russia is an indispensable partner for Italian companies today and tomorrow».
«After 26 years of its acquisition - comments Alessandro Cuomo, International Brand and Market Developer of Gruppo Manni - the Group is opening one of the largest plants in its history, a history that will further strengthen later this year with the opening of a new plant in Mexico with which we will open a fast track to the countries of NAFTA (North American Free Trade Agreement), leading us to reach the production capacity of twenty million square metres spread over seven plants in two continents. In fact in 2015 Isopan is ranked as the second producer of sandwich panels in the world for volume, one of a handful to provide premium products and certainly the one with the widest product range. One thing we have learned investing abroad and comparing ourselves with different nations - said Cuomo - is that the real challenge of a 'Green Field Project' is the transfer of knowledge. I believe that Russia will be a stimulating challenge for our Group from this point of view because a major effort of common approach is required. Not only the company will emerge enriched but all of our employees will also have the opportunity to grow both professionally and as individuals».
